Chiropractic Treatment for Sports Injuries

When it comes to sports injuries, Dr. Morales’ chiropractic care - through the use of safe and natural spinal adjustive techniques, soft tissue mobilization, physical therapy applications, stretching and exercise programs, extensive biomechanical training, as well as, diet and nutritional counseling - focuses on all causes of the injury, which have lead to the symptoms of pain and do not focus on solely eliminating pain. Her personal experience as an amateur and NCAA Division II collegiate athlete (who suffered from many sports injuries), gives her the expertise and empathy it takes to successfully diagnose and treat these unique type of injuries.

For Dr. Morales’ successful treatment of a sports injury, she must focus not only on pain relief, but must also address the underlying causes, such as muscular imbalances, improper sporting techniques, biomechanical deficiencies, and improper conditioning, just to name a few. To do this, Dr. Morales has asked cyclists to bring their bicycles to the office in order to see if the patient was properly fitted for his bike. She has also gone to a wrestling tournament of a state ranked high school patient to find out why and how wrestler’s knees get injured. This is the kind of commitment Dr. Morales has to her patients and to sports injuries!
